Activities Said Success For Local Boys' Club
Summer activities at the West Monroe Boys' Club are called a tremendous success by program director Jack Sneed. About 200 boys attend daily, up from 95 last year, with swimming at Monroe pool four days a week and lively arts and crafts, finger painting, popsicle stick projects, and trampoline classes. The week ends with plans to air condition the games room to serve more boys better, while bus tours to Twin Cities sites and strong spelling and reading participation keep the program thriving.
