Amite City Louisiana June 29 Sheriff John Saal of Tangipahoa parish will pay a 500 reward for Will Varnado who broke jail there on June 24. Varnado 5 feet 10 inches tall with black hair and mustache, middle-parted hair, forehead and left shoulder scars plus two abdomen scars from gunshots. He limps in his left leg, eyes black and wide set, weight about 140 pounds. A 50 reward is offered for D W Behan who escaped with Varnado.
