Traylor will be assistant district attorney but may continue serving during the period. The council believes the extension will bridge administrations as routine matters are addressed. Daily briefings between Hatten and outgoing Mayor Norris continue amid planning for July 1 transition.

Taylor O’Hearn and allies push the project while House opposition grows with amendments to audit Expressway Authority records and keep tolls until bonds are paid.
