No Indictments From Ouachita Parish Grand Jury Session
A one day Ouachita parish grand jury session led by Judge David J. Garrett and presiding Judge Edward L. Gladney Jr. found no indictments. The panel investigated alleged slot machine ownership and a rape case against Willis A. Tarver but reported insufficient evidence for any true bill. Eleven jurors issued a final report stating diligent inquiry but no charges, and requested discharge subject to further court orders.
