The East Carroll parish police jury met in peace and elected George Bishop ward 2 to the prison organization and Josh Clement president. Hardy Patrick, J. E. Brown, and W. B. Ragland were named finance committee members, with The Banner-Democrat chosen as official journal. Frank Byerly reappointed secretary for two years.
