Ruston, La, June 19. Additional traffic lights are being installed while electricians replace stop and go signals removed for overhaul. New signals include three intersection lights at Vienna street with Georgia avenue Monroe road, Vienna with Alabama avenue, Vienna with California avenue Shreveport highway. Four one way signals added on Trenton street at East and West Mississippi avenue due to an L shaped intersection. The Ruston Pan-Hellenic association is completing a nursery at the Ruston Lincoln sanitarium to keep newborns at constant temperature. A glass front will let visitors view babies without handling them. The group plans an ornamental fountain at Louisiana Tech. The Ruston American Legion auxiliary funded an incubator for ill or premature babies at the local hospital.

Fire causes minor damage to Swayze truck in Monroe
A truck owned by M. D. Swayze sustained slight damage after a backfire through the carburetor started a small blaze at the Fourteenth and DeSiard street corner.
