10 Day Deadline Set On Integration In Los Angeles
In Los Angeles a 10 day timetable was set for total integration after a six hour conference that formed top level committees among integrationists and 50 community leaders. They seek state fair housing laws by June 21 or city and county action in July and target significant school enrollment integration by September. An independent review board was urged, with a push to eliminate discrimination across industry and labor.
