Annual Church Meet 15 Held in Boston
From Boston today came a strong statement that pure Christianity can solve the problems of the modern age. Several thousand Christian Scientists gathered for The Mother Church annual meeting in Boston. Walter S. Cross, the new president, said there is an answer to tyranny and chaos, urging deeper understanding of God and His laws. The Christian Science board noted vast evidences of spiritual power to heal, enlarge capacity, and uncover hidden resources. They reported thirty-eight new churches and rising membership, with healing work described as at its best in the year.
