Fred Fudickar Sr. a 77 year old Monroe area businessman and Twin City family figure died in his sleep at his fishing camp on Lake St. John during a family outing. He founded Monroe’s first ice company and owned multiple ice ventures from Vidalia to Oak Grove. he later acquired Pic-Quik Stores. Funeral at Grace Episcopal Church with burial in Old City Cemetery. He is survived by his widow, children including John Bennett Fudickar, and several grandchildren. Memorials to Grace Episcopal Church are requested.
