lawmakers clash over Ouachita highway announcements in Monroe
Rep. Law rence Gibbs told the Louisiana House Gov McKeithen reaffirmed that Ouachita Parish highway project announcements would come from the Ouachita delegation not from highway board member Jimmy Moore or Jack Howard. Legislators debated old age benefits for movers out of state and a proposed reapportionment bill, with mixed votes and notable names like Sen. Jamar Adecock Sen. Austin Fontenot Sen.
