The 7th Grade Y-Teens meet at the Y at 4 p m and a reception for Miss Julia Wossman is planned at Barkdall Faulk School 5 to 8. Ex-GI Beets freed after 18 year Leavenworth sentence

Ben L. Beets 32, an ex-GI from Chickasha Oklahoma, is reunited with his wife in Kansas City Kansas after Federal Judge Alfred P Murrah of Oklahoma City discharged him from an 18 year sentence he was serving in the U S prison at Leavenworth Kansas. The judge said the army court martial at Darmstadt Germany which convicted Beets of raping a German woman was saturated with tyranny.
