Monroe youth jailed for marijuana possession six months

An 18 year old Monroe youth was sentenced to six months in jail today by Fourth District Judge Robert T. Farr for possession of marijuana. Willie Earl Tillery of Monroe received the term according to court records.

Robbery Suspect Identified In West Monroe Case

West Monroe deputies identified James Andrew Taylor as a suspect in the armed robbery of Jimmie’s Grocery on Jonesboro Road. A second masked suspect was being sought while a bystander reported a purse theft in Monroe. Police said about $100 was taken and a separate burglary occurred at Gilbert Faulk’s home.
