Drown in Auto Plunge Near Baton Rouge
Two women, Dolores Riley and Pauline Kilgore, aged 19 and about 30, drowned when a car plunged into the Amite river 20 miles south of Baton Rouge. Thieves Take $40 000 In New Orleans Robbery
A 21 year old Ruth Richard, an Interstate Electric clerk, was kidnapped forced into a car by three men and a half hour later dumped on Gen tilly highway near Michaud. Suspects took about $40 000 in checks and cash from her employer bank deposit. Richard kept $3 to return home.
