New York Jan 20 Opponents of Michael J Kennedy plan not only to remove him as Tammany Hall leader Saturday but also to seek a supreme court order Monday to restrain him from duties if needed. Spokesmen for the anti Kennedy bloc announced after Kennedy refused to attend the Saturday executive committee session called by insurgents. Edward V Loughlin assembly district leader, mentioned as possible successor if Kennedy is deposed, issued the call. After an eight year split John L. Lewis and A F L president William Green met secretly in Washington on the question of readmitting the United Mine Workers to the federation. Mrs. Helen West Edwards of Monroe learns of the death of her husband Staff Sergeant Benjamin D. Edwards in a plane accident at Oakland California January 18.
