Connie Morgan 17 of Ruston and Royce Cook 21 of Macedonia Ark died in a head on collision 12 miles southwest of Magnolia. A Houma Louisiana family’s three year old Raymond Joseph Marcel died en route to Charity Hospital New Orleans after a boiling water accident at home. The boy, son of Mr and Mrs Wilbert Marcel, had been burned when a pot was pulled from the stove and later suffered convulsions as the family crossed the Mississippi River bridge.
