Shaw's cremation to honor famed playwright George Bernard Shaw
London reports the cremation of George Bernard Shaw will occur today with a small gathering of friends and servants. No funeral service is planned, ashes to stand with wife Charlotte’s until decisions are made possibly to Westminster Abbey. Shaw wished his ashes mixed with Charlotte’s though a dean's approval is pending. A sprig of rosemary from Ellen Terry's garden rests on Shaw's coffin. Speculation swirls over a new alphabet Shaw proposed and his will to be probated soon.
