The battered body of Gertrude Fincher, 45 to 50, was found by two sheriffs deputies beside Crossett Highway north of Bastrop in the Log Cabin Community. Coroner says death by internal injuries with multiple broken limbs. A Hamburg resident is held for questioning in Hamburg Ark. No charges filed at mid morning.

Six Bodies Found in Detroit Family Shooting Suicide
