Richard Pat Doxier a prominent Atlanta newspaperman died early today from a heart ailment. Born in Terrell County Georgia he grew up in Milledgeville and studied at Georgia Military College the University of Virginia and the University of Georgia. He held posts including editor of the Aa Chronicle reporter for World Herald staff writer for The Associated Press college bureau writer for the Nashville Tennessean managing editor of the Montgomery Alabama Journal and night editor at the Atlanta Constitution. He was retired in 196 when health declined. Surviving are his widow Julia Andrews Marka of Montgomery.
