Social Party At Bernbeth Entertains Seventy Guests

Last Saturday night Mr and Mrs Malcolm Biedenharm and Mr and Mrs Bernard Biedenharm hosted about 120 guests at Bernbeth the Biedenharm country lodge. Guests enjoyed a Dutch supper then roamed the grounds and watched fish fed by lights. The four hosts provided hospitable oversight and comfortable rooms with modern conveniences.

Mrs. Henry Biedenharm returns from Rochester after a three week visit with her daughter Mrs. Haydn Cutler. Dr. Haydn Cutler is tied to the Mayo Clinic. Mrs. Cutler and her son Haydn Jr. joined Mrs. Biedenharm for a Monroe visit. Mrs. Ray Rhymes hosted a two table bridge morning for Billy Jarrell and Neilson Rogers of Austin Texas. Guests included Elizabeth Casper, Billy Stroud, Ruth Easterling, Beatrice Rhymes, Mrs. Charles Garretson and Billy and Neilson Rogers. New Monroe residents Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Abbot from New Orleans live at Savoy Court apartments. Mr. Abbot is a salesman for Milner Motor Company. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lucas of Little Rock Arkansas stayed with Miss June Rader at her aunt and uncle’s home, Clarence and Mrs. DuBes.
