Drafting subcommittee must craft Aug 14 alternatives to the relief distribution formula while considering legal guidance and statewide tax equalization issues. The court set Sept 1 for proposed changes ahead of the Aug 20 legislative session. repeal of only the 5.75 mill statewide tax won’t fix fairness, others must go too.

Two Girls Rescued From Locked Closet in San Antonio
In San Antonio Texas two girls aged six and eight were found alive after being locked inside a bedroom closet of a vacant house for about three days.
