William F. Joyce 25 of Stoughton Mass was killed in action at Quan Lai with the 1st Battalion 7th Marines. He used alias Richard J. Preskenis to enlist in 1963 to avoid past trouble with police. The Defense Department lists Preskenis as the casualty, but Joyce was listed by next of kin Mrs Paul Collins.
