Ouachita River Storage Land Lease for Government Dams Work

The Home Realty and Development Company of Monroe leased an acre of land to the government on the Ouachita river at Monroe for storage related to Lock and Dam No 4. Captain J W Stewart oversees the project as part of the army engineers reconstruction effort. An appropriation of 500000 was allocated to the War Department for Ouachita river reconstruction this year.

L Kaliski disposed of Hart’s addition property in Monroe at a good figure. L F Wastoe bought lot two of square eleven for 6710 with 960 cash. The frontage is 37 feet on One street and 196 feet deep. Rayville Doctor Acquitted in Federal Narcotics Case
