Blood stained clothes blamed on an accident near Winnfield
A blood stained bundle found beside US 84 near Winnfield was linked to a months old auto accident. WPA workers saw two men drive toward Natchitoches after dropping the clothes five miles west of Winnfield. A Monroe relative admitted disposing of the torn garments as there was nothing to it. No offense was found, sheriff says. Panama Canal Zone population listed at 51,830.
