Ouachita City man dies in Sterlington area crash
A 67 year old Ouachita City retired carpenter S W Vick was killed when his auto collided nearly head on with a dump truck driven by Edward O Pesnell 35 of West Monroe about 3 45 p m yesterday at the Monroe Sterlington Bastrop intersection twelve miles north of Monroe. Vick died of a crushed skull and chest. Pesnell was uninjured. Funeral arrangements were to be handled by Mulhearn Funeral Home.
