Man Dies In Car Accident At Local Crossroads
ALTO Special James M Lowery 46 of Mangham died at 7 p.m. Friday after failing to observe a stop sign on highway 133 and entering highway 15 where he was struck broadside by another vehicle near Rhymes Store. Occupants Ella May McIntyre 43 and grandson Derrick Stewart were treated at St Francis Hospital and released. Richland Parish recorded its 25th traffic fatality of the year.
