Severson Twins Hurt in Mishap near York church
Two Severson brothers from rural Hollandale were hospitalized after a one car crash at 1 04 am on Highway 78 near the York church. Driver Sylvanus Severson has abdominal injuries and a possible broken arm, while twin Sylvanus suffered a forehead bruise and was released. The car veered 65 feet along an embankment, possibly rolled, then tipped onto its side. A guard pole was knocked down and cornfield damaged. Police reported two other accidents nearby involving local residents Fried, Hagen, and Pryce.

Forty five Lake Players from Lake Masonic Lodge of Milwaukee arrived Saturday afternoon to present the play A Hidden Mystery for area Masons in the Masonic Temple. The group toured Green County Co op and Oaktron Inc during the afternoon. A potluck supper followed for Masons and their wives, then card games for the wives. Earlier, the Lake Dodge Funsters performed for area Masons and wives, with visitors from nearby lodges in attendance.

Pilot Lands On Highway In Emergency Flight
A Rochester Minnesota pilot used Highway 81 west of Argyle as an emergency airfield yesterday and then continued to Rochester. Tom Packman told Argyle Police Chief Adolph Jaggs he was winging it from Rockford when fog forced him to land on the highway. Jaggs and others held up traffic while he taxied about 500 feet and flew away. He landed about 8 30 a m and took off around 1 30 p m.

Escape Death In Airliner Crash In Boston Harbor
A four engine Astrojet 707 with 71 aboard skidded off a runway and into Boston Harbor. No fatalities aboard the American Airlines flight. two passengers and a stewardess treated for minor injuries, one man died of a heart attack. Passengers were rescued within six minutes.
