Jack Feldt 16 son of Mr and Mrs Kenneth Feldt Route 2 Monroe is a patient at St Clare Hospital with a severe concussion from the Juda Blanchardville football game. He left the field in the fourth quarter and later was incoherent he was taken to hospital about 11 p.m. and will miss the remainder of the season per his family.

Mercer Child Dies of Injury on Farm Run Over by Loader Wagon
Orangeville times special reports two year old Mark E Mercer son of Keith and Alberta Mercer Route 1 Bad Oak Ill died of skull fractures after a loader wagon ran him over on the family farm. He fell from a tractor driven by his father and died at Freeport Memorial Hospital. Funeral Monday at 1 30 p m at Cramer Funeral Home Orangeville with burial Chapel Hill Cemetery near Freeport. He was born November 10 1963. He is survived by his parents two brothers Eric and Nathan maternal grandparents Ross Potter Hanover paternal grandmother Nettie Mercer Hanover.

Fifty delegates from 19 locals will gather at Turner Hall Monroe for a three day state convention Sept 27 to 29.
