Homeless Animals Need Homes In Monroe City
Two dogs at the City Incinerator remain homeless while a friendly cat pictured in The Monroe Evening Times has found a home. A spokesman said the animals stay in the City Pound within the incinerator building until humane disposal. The cat, rescued by Mrs. Tom Hartwig, has been rehomed. The two three month old puppies pictured last week are now with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tuescher and Mrs. Norman Sabenson. Mrs. Alden Austin had kept the puppies for her daughter, hoping for more adopters.
