Swissair group sails for six week Swiss tour from New Glarus
About 80 travelers left New Glarus for a six week visit to Switzerland on a New Glarus Yodel ers sponsored flight. The group departed O'Hare at 7 15 PM after a 2 PM bus from New Glarus and plans to return Oct 21. Willi Ruef Sr. of New Glarus organized the trip and rode as a passenger along with Mrs. Jakob Kummer Alfred Fuchser and others from Monticello Verona Belleville Madison Darlington and Chicago. Albert White Geigel teaching in Tokyo with plans to study in Taipei and return to the American School in Tokyo is also noted. New York report from Dr. E Cuyler Hammond of the American Cancer Society says a 25 year old man who smokes two packs daily has about 65.3 years to live, compared with 73.6 years if never a smoker.
