Williams 64 died in a two vehicle collision 11 08 a m Sunday on Highway 69 near Alpine Road 1 4 miles northwest of Monticello The other driver Daniel L Baker 15 Monticello suffered a damaged car as did passenger Lucille Lipman Beloit who had bruises and is listed in good condition at St Clare Hospital The sheriff s report cites braking and veer right as Williams error in the multi vehicle crash Funeral services for Mrs Harold L Williams were held at St Paul s Episcopal Beloit For injuries a motorcycle car crash on Highway 11 west of County Trunk M left Gerald F Thompson 23 Monroe with leg and arm injuries. Swiss-born Edward J. Weber Dies at 62 in Monroe

Edward J. Weber 62 of 905 15th Ave died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday in St. Clare hospital from a blood clot after emphysema. Born October 11 1904 in Zurwil Switzerland he worked as a cheesemaker before settling in the Monroe area. Survived by widow Alma Rufer Marty four stepchildren and several siblings. Funeral services held at St. Victor's Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
