John H Nicholson Last Gideons Founder Dies at 86
John H Nicholson 86 last of three Gideons founders died Saturday at Beloit in the home of his daughter Mrs Troy Blood after a four day illness. He retired after 54 years as a traveling salesman with the Standard Oil Co and helped saw Gideons place Bibles in hotels and trains. Survivors include a daughter two grandchildren and a great grandchild. Services will be held Tuesday at Beloit.
