County Cheese to be Featured on NBC Lets Make A Deal

County agent Myron Jeglum announced a wheel of Green County Swiss Cheese will appear on NBCs Lets Make A Deal on the afternoon of Tuesday Nov 8. The cheese is provided by the State Department of Agriculture the Foreign Type Cheesemakers Assn the Wisconsin Swiss and Limburger Assn and Board of Supervisors publicity committee. It is being sent to New York for the national program broadcast on more than 150 channels. The State Department of Agriculture will release further details soon.

The new city directory for Monroe lists a population of 8 772 for 1966 up from 8 646 in 1964 and 8 049 in 1960. It includes business firms private citizens city and county officers parks churches schools public buildings apartments and a street guide with a city map and an index for buyers. Two Platteville Students Die In Wisconsin Crash

Two Platteville State University students, Jerry F Burr and Maurice J Loeffler both 19 from Fennimore, were killed in a car truck collision near Mt Horeb Dane County. Three other car passengers were injured while truck driver Wayne Yonkus 21 of Stockton Illinois was unhurt. The 1966 Wisconsin traffic toll reached 903 with comparisons to prior years.
