Monroe Youth Sentenced to Wisconsin State Reformatory
David A. R. Pressler, 19, of Monroe, was sentenced by Judge Roger L. Elmer in County Court to one year in the Wisconsin State Reformatory at Green Bay for forging an endorsement on a Social Security check. He had pleaded guilty and was returned for sentencing after a probation in Rock County. A petty theft charge awaits in Green County Circuit Court. The forged endorsement used the name Clarence Erickson of Argyle, and the incident occurred in Monroe. He was jailed in the reformatory yesterday afternoon after police arrested him.
