Yugoslavia Buys 135 Sabre Jets From U S
The United States disclosed a sale of about 135 Sabre Jet fighters to Yugoslavia earlier this year. Eight Yugoslav air force personnel are being trained at Perrin Air Force Base in Texas on the F86D all weather interceptor as part of the deal. New Discoverer Capsule Recovery Plan At Sea
Vandenberg California reports Discoverer No 32 circling the Earth every 91 minutes with a 300 pound gold plated capsule in its nose to be ejected within four days. Sky hook equipped planes will attempt to snag the kettle drum sized capsule as it parachutes toward the Pacific near Hawaii. The Agena second stage was blasted into orbit Friday by a Thor rocket. Mrs Kuban mother of Anthony M Kuban Milwaukee was listed in serious condition at St Clare Hospital after a one car crash on the north side of Brodhead at 8 am. Her sister Mrs Joseph Szemborski 49 Milwaukee driver of the car also hospitalized with head and chest bruises. Sewer Project Warning From City Engineer
City engineer Geraia Wickus warned parents today to keep children away from storm sewer excavations in the south part of the city. Kim Lausch, age 7, was rescued by police after entering an open trench on 12th avenue south of Mth street at 5:45 p.m. yesterday and was not injured.
