Ernest E Wenger Jr. 60 a Monroe businessman and World War II veteran died of a heart attack at 2:20 p.m. in his home. He was born January 23, 1907 at Blanchardville and later formed a hardware partnership in Monroe. He retired in 1965 from Crandall Oil Co. after 12 years. He served 1943 to 1944 at Ft. Knox and Camp Bowie. Survived by his widow Marguerite Hale, a South Turn teacher, and members of St. John's United Church of Christ, the Lions Club, and Zilmer Riley American Legion Post.
