The county sheriff reports two weekend traffic accidents with no injuries. Louis Duggan of Rockford and Ronald Rockow of Browntown were in a 6:05 p.m. sideswipe 11 miles west of Monroe on Highway 1181 near the McGrath farm. Gerry Albertson of Blanchardville and A. H. Clark of Elmwood collided near the Highway 69 trailer camp in New Glarus during yesterday’s rain. Albertson claimed steamed windows hid the other car. Duggan was fined 100 dollars and jailed five days for operating while intoxicated, with Judge Marshall L. Peterson warning of stricter penalties.
