Semi Truck and Train Collide In City Crossing
Two men were injured when a southeast bound semi owned by Roys Sanitary Dairy collided with an Illinois Central Railroad engine at a city crossing in the 600 block near 10th Street. Driver Richard Garwell 34 was thrown from the cab and passenger Terry Jackson 19 was pinned in the wreckage and freed by methods. Both were treated at St Clare Hospital and later dismissed.
