Burglars Take $500 From Janesville Medical Clinic
Burglars cracked a safe at the Pember-Nuzum medical clinic in Janesville and escaped with about $500 in cash. A physician discovered the theft Sunday afternoon.

Bernet 73 Dies After Solon Springs Visit
Christian Bernet 73 longtime cheesemaker and resident of Monroe and Monticello area died Saturday at Hayward Memorial Hospital. Services set for 2 p.m. tomorrow at St. John’s United Church of Christ Monroe with burial in Greenwood cemetery. He was born in Switzerland January 26 1889 and married Marie Kauffman in 1917. Survived by daughter Mrs Herman Dittmer Monroe son Werner several siblings and six grandchildren.
