Roy Robichaux of Roy's Sanitary Dairy in Monroe plans to launch a 40 percent dairy spread called Butterite using a CBS chilled buttermilk system. He aims to also produce a ten percent dairy blend margarine for out of state sale, with modified dairy products research housed at a former Monroe Dairy plant.

Hospital Building Plans Announced For St. Clare

Sister M Wilfreda administrator of St Clare Hospital today announced an August 1968 start for a much needed addition. Meetings with architect doctors advisory boards and fundraising committees set the earliest possible start. Statewide surveys project St Clare will need over 300 beds with Monroe named among top state medical centers. The new wing will initially design for 300 beds with final bed count and floors to be decided by fundraising success and construction costs.
