Nine Die in Tulsa Dynamite Blast at Oil Test Site
A dynamite explosion at Pan American Petroleum Bird Creek testing site northeast of Tulsa killed nine crew members of an oil company seismograph team and injured others as investigators probed whether a crane or electric line sparked the blast.
