Juda motorcyclist injured in Monroe crash on 13th street
A Juda rider, Dwight Coplien, 20, sustained shoulder and leg bruises and a forehead cut when his motorcycle collided with a car driven by Walter A. Iserman on 13th street and 22nd avenue Saturday night. Coplien was treated at St. Clare Anne and released after X rays found no fractures. Iserman reported stopping across 22nd avenue as Coplien braked and the motorcycle skid on wet pavement. Damage to Coplien’s bike was about 175 dollars. Iserman’s car had a hole in the right rear door and other damage. A second crash Saturday afternoon involved Jesse D. Lynch’s parked car on 10th Street and Chester L. Stauffacher’s car on 17th Avenue, causing a broken tail light and dented rear fender on Stauffacher’s vehicle.
