President Eisenhower accepted George M. Humphrey's resignation as secretary of the Treasury and nominated Robert B. Anderson, formerly secretary of the Navy, to assume the post. Dairy Month Queen Contest Opens Saturday
June Dairy Month activities begin with nomination ballots to elect seven Dairy Queens across Green County. A 6:30 a.m. dairy breakfast in Union Presbyterian Church features Assemblyman C. M. Stauffer and expects 100 dairy leaders. Young Cyclist Killed in Wisconsin Traffic Toll Rises
A 10 year old boy, William Buechel of Route 1 West De Pere, died Tuesday night after a bicycle collision with a car on Brown County Trunk M. The incident pushed Wisconsin 1957 traffic deaths to 284, compared with 329 on the same date last year.
