Committee Sets Action On Reorganizing PTA At Monroe Meeting
An enthusiastic Monroe crowd urged reorganization of the Junior and Senior High School PTAs. A eight member committee was formed to study continuance of one PTA or separate groups and to explore a PTSA option with Mrs. Wayne Stroessner presiding. The group will report within two weeks after hearing Mrs. Carl Strobel discuss PTA and PTSA goals and limitations.

Motorcycle Mishap Injures Two Riders Near Monroe
David A Faith age 18 of 2014 10th St and Roger W Kub ly age 22 of Monroe suffered multiple abrasions when the motorcycle they rode as it doubled tipped over on County Trunk K about four tenths of a mile southeast of Monroe.
