Albany Soldier Wounded in Vietnam Action

Pfc. Kris Blumer, 19, Albany high school graduate and former Albany Super Market employee, was wounded May 15 in a mine explosion in Vietnam. He suffers thorax abdomen and leg injuries and is hospitalized in Vietnam with non serious injuries reported. His brother Karl Blumer is also in service.
