Former Times employee Paul Frenzel dies at 78

Paul L. Frenzel 78 of 1816 10th St Monroe died at 12:05 a.m. Monday March 30 at St. Clare Hospital after a heart condition. He retired as maintenance man at The Monroe Evening Times and previously ran a checkroom with his wife at Turner Hall. Surviving are seven children, a brother, 17 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday April 1 at Stnessy Funeral Home with Rev. Milton G. Petzold officiating. burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Easter Weekend Toll Hits Near Historic Wisconsin Death Toll

Glenn Dearth 47 of rural Blanchardville and 18 others died in Easter weekend crashes across Wisconsin.
