Expanded Wisconsin plans to aid mentally retarded through New Concepts
Several hundred attended the Wisconsin Badger Camp banquet in Madison where plans were outlined for New Concepts Foundation to build and operate small residential care homes and expand services for the mentally retarded and physically handicapped. The scheme includes state funded bonds, federal support, a 723 acre Prairie du Chien campus, year round operation, and family camping.

Wyandotte Students Arrive for Week's Visit
Twenty six Roosevelt High School students from Wyandotte Michigan and sponsors arrived in Monroe Sunday afternoon for a reunion with their partners. A sheriff escort and Monroe police led the bus into town as host families greeted them at the high school. The day included class visits and a Lakeside Clubhouse welcoming party. A group dinner follows at 6 30 in the M Room and tomorrow the guests travel by bus to Galena with box lunches.

Red Oak Woman Killed in Monroe Area Car Crash
Kathleen E. Busjahn, 20, of Red Oak Illinois, died at the scene four miles southwest of Monroe when two cars collided at an intersection. Julie Rackow, 19, and Elaine Walters, 16, were drivers. Busjahn's death marks Green County's third traffic fatality this year, following Susan Thorne's January crash.
