The FBI said it continues the investigation of a crossword contest scam that victimized two New York feature syndicates and many newspapers. Twelve arrests were made in six states, with $45 000, from last November to February 1959. The ring operated from London Ontario under Suburban Publishers Ltd and used a fake bank The Middlesex Trust Co of Bryan Ontario to receive answers and payouts.
