Madison Driver Injured When Train Hits Car Near Juda
Charles L. Tennis, 25, of Madison, injured as Milwaukee Road train struck his car near Juda on old highway 20. He is in St. Clare hospital with non serious injuries including scalp lacerations, arm and shoulder wounds, and chest contusion after the car was pushed about 30 feet and rolled down an embankment. The sheriff cites obstructed track vision by weeds. Accident occurred 4 45 p m. Tennis admitted 5 10 p m. A separate note reports a 1937 Chevrolet found overturned in a creek near Evert Green farm, Spring Grove township, its occupants missing. A later crash five miles southwest of Beavored Dam killed driver William S. Vogel, about 40, Columbus, and injured five others when his car hit a bus after colliding with another auto. The bus driver and four passengers were injured.
