Wilmer A. Palmer told police that 200 dollars in cash was stolen from a cigar box kept in rooms over Palmer's tavern at 1301 17th street. The loss likely occurred last night while Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Rauscher were away. The box, in a kitchen cupboard, held yesterday's receipts and was found empty at noon today.
