Police on Kidnapers Trail Free Four U S Airmen
Police said they were on the kidnappers trail after four U S airmen were released Monday night following five days in captivity. The Turkish People’s Liberation Army had demanded up to 400000 dollars and threatened to shoot the captives if not paid by Saturday. Interior Minister Montesoglu announced a dragnet as hundreds of officers searched a high rent district near Embassy Row for the suspects. The kidnappers telephoned acquaintances Monday seeking to recover the captives.
